Vadu Motilor is situated in the North West of Alba County, at the confluence of Valea Neagra and Ariesul Mare rivers.
Located at the confluence of two major valleys between Bihor Mountains and Big Mountain, the locality of Vadu Motilor has a specific mountain relief, developed on crystalline schists at an altitude between 700 and 1400 m. The variety of the relief, by its spectacular, the valley of the Aries River, the variety of flora and fauna and the climate characteristics make this locality attractive from a tourist point of view.
