Timisul de Jos is located in Brasov County. Until 1948, there was here an English monastery of Young ladies.
The area is famous, as having the cleanest air in Romania. From here tourists can start some very beautiful tourist routes such as the route of a unique beauty on the 7 Stairs (climbing is through a rocky gorge on some iron stairs).
Another tourist route of medium difficulty and unique beauty is to the top of the Bunloc massif, a place loved by professionals of paragliding and hang glider.
There is also cable installation - lift and ski trail of medium difficulty.
