Scrind-Frasinet is located in Cluj County, on Hentului Valley, at the foothills of Vladeasa Mountains. As the name tells this village consists of two cores: Scrind - village developed along Hentului Valley and Frasinet- a scattered hamlet. The main poles of attraction are the church and the school in the center of the village.
The main point of attraction is the dam of the Hentului River. The lake Scrind-Frăsinet is located to the north of the town.
Near the locality, in the village of Rachitele, there is the famous Mireasa waterfall (35m). Scrind is located on the access road to Padis - Natural Reservation known for "The Fortress of Ponor" with a fantastic natural karst with 3 big where you can find the portal of a cave of 70m high. In this area you will also find the Fintanele Lake which is 25 km long.
In a slightly longer trip, aprox.16 km, you can visit the medieval fortress Bologa.
