Oradea has a beautiful Baroque complex that consists of the Episcopal Palace, the Roman Catholic basilica with many frescoes, all the pile being built in the second half of the eighteenth century. Saint Ladislaus Roman Catholic Church, the Moon Church, the Assumption Orthodox Cathedral, the Capuchin Monastery (neoclassical), the Olosig Roman Catholic Church, the former Palace of Finance (eclectic style, now houses the clinic), the Palace of Justice, the Reformed Synagogue, the Theater, the Palace Hall, the Greek-Catholic Episcopal Palace, the Palaces Astoria, Rimanoczi, Moskovits, Black Eagle (special windows), Ulmann, Apollo, the Greek Catholic Cathedral of Saint Nicholas – there are the most important points of tourist interest. The fortification of the fortress, located downtown, is a major attraction, the largest and best preserved pentagonal fortress in Central Europe, rebuilt in the Italian style of the XVIth century.
