Sirnea – the first tourist village in Romania, an old settlement of shepherds, offers a magnificent opening to Craiului Stone ridge and to Bucegi Mountains. Sirnea gives to its tourists the specific mountain visual pleasure and the recreational comfort of a peaceful locality. To mountain lovers here are opened many paths to Piatra Craiului and a few kilometers away raise the Bucegi Mountains. It also can be crossed by car in both directions the Rucar – Bran passage, Sirnea being in the middle of this gorgeous strategic area.
