Baile 1 Mai is a resort located in the village of Sanmartin in Bihor County. It is only 2 km away from Baile Felix and 4 km from Oradea.
The resort enjoys a plain moderate continental climate; the average annual temperature is 10.5 ° C and the summer period - 21.3 ° C.
Known also as the Episcopal Baths (XV-XVII centuries), the resort is outstanding because of the mineral and thermal waters and because of the mud from the lake situated in the village, used to treat rheumatism, diseases of the central and peripheral nervous system and gynecological diseases.
The main attraction Baile 1 Mai is the thermal water (32 ° C) which is used both in the spa to treat rheumatic diseases, and in the two swimming pools:

On Peta River there is a lake, where grows “Nymphaea lotus var thermalis” - a unique flower in Romania, protected by law. This lake is called "The water lilies Lake" and it is a natural reservation.
